Grete has more than 25 years of experience in business law, IT law, data protection and intellectual property law. Grete specialises in IT and technology law, and has extensive experience of implementing ERP and other IT solutions, development projects and digitalisation processes. The assistance can include all phases - from the initial request for quotation and evaluation of quotations, to contract conclusion and project follow-up with change orders, as well as renegotiation after delays or deficiencies and claims for cancellation or compensation.
Grete also has extensive experience with data protection and GDPR. She regularly assists organisations in establishing or revising their systems and procedures for compliance and internal control. In addition, she provides ongoing advisory services on data protection, including legal basis (basis for processing), privacy statements, data processing agreements (DPA), risk assessments and incident management. She stays well informed of developments in regulations and practices in the field of data protection legislation in order to ensure accurate and up-to-date advice.
Grete also works extensively with intellectual property law (IPR) and marketing law, including regulating rights in various types of agreements, establishing protection, handling infringement cases, counterfeiting cases and disputes concerning trademarks, business names and domains.
Grete has a particular interest in artificial intelligence (AI), and closely follows regulatory developments in the field. She also plays a key role in Advokatfirmaet Dehn's choice, implementation and use of AI solutions. Grete's combined expertise in AI law, IT law, data protection law and intellectual property law means that she can provide businesses with comprehensive, relevant legal advice on the introduction, use and development of AI. This may, for example, include preparing of risk assessments and internal guidelines, contract reviews, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
In addition, Grete assists in the purchase and sale of more traditional goods and services, both to prevent conflicts with the drafting of contracts, contract templates and standard terms and conditions, and to resolve conflicts and disputes. She also has experience working with regulatory changes and various issues related to administrative law and public procurement. In addition, she regularly assists in transactions, particularly in relation to IT, technology and IPR.
